Acta Palaeontologica Sinica (APS), founded in 1953，the only official journal of Palaeontological Society of China (PSC). ISSN 0001-6616, CN 32-1188/Q.
The journal is superintended by Chinese Academy of Sciences, jointly sponsored by Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Palaeontological Society of China , and published by Science Press.
It is a comprehensive academic journal with Chinese and English language, peer-reviewed and aimming to publish high-quality materials on paleontology and related biostratigraphy. It mainly publishes original research papers, discipline trends, academic discussions, review of works, and applications of new technologies and methods in paleontology and related disciplines. We also publish academic discussions, academic trends at domestic and overseas, introduction of new books in related areas.
Publishing mode
The journal is available both in print and online. Articles are published quarterly.
