    Abstract:
Based on large amount of specimens and data gathered from literature, a detailed morphometric analysis has been conducted to study the ontogeny and evolution of robustoschwagerinids, a group of Permian Schwagerinidae including 31 species originally put under the name of Robustoschwagerina M.-Maclay, 1956 (Table Ⅰ).For all the species studied, the rate of shape change has been calculated and compared for each volution, which was defined as the ratio of the non-overlap area between two adjacent volutions to the area of preceding volution (Fig. 1). Three different types of shape change, labeled as A, B and C respectively in the inset of Figure 1, have been recognized in the ontogenetic process of robustoschwagerinids.
2  EARLY AND MIDDLE DEVONIAN BOUNDARY STRATA OF HOBOKSAR, WEST JUNGGAR AND THEIR BRACHIOPODS
    Xu Han-kui
    1991(3):327-331. DOI: 10.19800/j.cnki.aps.1991.03.004

    Abstract:
Devonian strata are well distributed and exposed in the Hoboksar district of west Junggar, Xinjiang, containing abundant fossils. This is one of the most important areas to study the Devonian strata and their fauna of Xinjiang.
3  UPPER TRIASSIC SPORO-POLLEN ASSEMBLAGES FROM MOSUOHE RIVER VALLEY OF BAODING, SICHUAN

    Abstract:
In 1972, after frequent investigations on lithology, sedimentology and palaeontology (especially on palaeobotany), the Upper Triassic coal series (formerly the "Lalaqing Coal Series") in the Baoding area, southwestern Sichuan was previously divided by No. 1 Regional Geological Survey Team of Yunnan Province into two formations in ascending order as the Daqiaodi Formation, and the Daqing Formation (consisting of the Lower and Upper Members).
