    Abstract:
The fusulinids herein described and figured were collected by Mr.Q.S.Yang andhis colleagues in recent years from several localities in the Dongfang district of the westernpart of Hainan Island,Kwangtung Province. The fusulinid-bearing beds in this region arefractured by numerous faults into discontinuous outcrops. The generalized stratigraphicsuccession of these beds and their underlying and overlying formations, according toMessrs.Q.S.Yang and Q.Q.Wu(1964),are as follows(in descending order)

    Abstract:
At Changshankou and Yehli in Kaiping Basin, the late Cambrian stratigraphy andpaIaeontology was first studied by Prof.Y.C.Sun in 1920.The following two forma-tions were then sectioned:2.Fengshan formation characterized by Prychaspis subglobosa,Mansuyia orientalis1.Changsban formation yielding Changshania conica, etc. In 1929,Y.T.Cbao,T.F.Hou and C.Y.Lee went to Yehli for a detailed mappingof the Fengshan-Weishan section, but they failed to obtain any other late Cambrian fos-

    Abstract:
Some additional fossil trilobites were obtained by the members of the palaeontologicalTraining Team under the auspices of Ministry of Geology from the valley of Weishannear Yehli,Kaiping Basin. The collections embrace one new subgenus, four new speciesand one new variety, besides Damesella,Aojia,Lisania,Anomocarella,Poshania and Peronopsis, which are characteristic of the Changhsia formation.Being immediately over-lain by Blackwelderia-bearing beds(Kushan stage)the horizon under study is certainlyascribed to the Changhsia formation of the late Middle Cambrian. In this article thedescription of the following new forms is given
