Abstract:
In this study, the bradoriid Kunmingella douvillei Mansuy(1912)from Yongshan,Yunnan Province and Jinyang,Sichuan Province in Southwest China,is measured and analyzed using statistical software. Analysis revealed that there is a stable ratio between the length of the hinge line (LH for short)and the length of the valve(L for short)in a population. Through further analysis, the geometric-proportion of the growth of Kunmingella douvillei in the bivalved phase is determined and a developmental model is presented.
