Abstract:
The fusulinids herein described and figured were collected by Mr.Q.S.Yang andhis colleagues in recent years from several localities in the Dongfang district of the westernpart of Hainan Island,Kwangtung Province.The fusulinid-bearing beds in this region arefractured by numerous faults into discontinuous outcrops.The generalized stratigraphicsuccession of these beds and their underlying and overlying formations,according toMessrs.Q.S.Yang and Q.Q.Wu(1964),are as follows(in descending order)
