Dictyella属自1933年T．Kobayashi建立以来至今未发现完整虫体，最近在广西靖西果乐发现的tyella longispina Zhou的完整虫体标本以及其尾部的内模、外模对其分类位置的确定有重要的意义。依据其面线(为等称虫型面线)及头鞍、尾部特征，把Dictyella归于Asaphacea超科Asaphidae科和Isotelinae亚科较为合适。

A complete carapace fossil has not ever been found since the Dictyella genus was first established in 1933 by T.Kobayashi. The recent discovery of Dictyelll longispina Zhou complete carapace and its external mold and internal mold of pygidium at Gule, Jingxi of Guangxi is significant to its classification. According to its facial sutures (isoteliform sutures) and glabella and pygidium characteristics, it is more appropriate to put Dictyella in Isotelinae, Asaphidae, Asaphacea.
