通过对松花江粗强壳叶肢介(Cratostracus songhuajiangensis)的正模标本进行扫描电镜研究，发现原来没有描述的生长线下缘锯齿状构造，进而重新厘定该种的特征描述。

[Abstract]
Through the SEM restudy of the holotype of Cratostracus songhuajiangensis (N. Chen,1976), a circle of serration structure in the lower margin of the growth lines of carapace valve has been detected, which was overlooked in the original descriptions of all species of the genus Cratostracus Huang in the past. This structure has been considered as base of classification of genus or subgenus (Shen et al ., 2002). Thus in the future the further study of the type species Cratostracus merus Huang is needed.
