Introduction The specimens dealt with here were sent by the geological parties in 1956 to the writer forstudy. They were collected from the Carboniferous and Permian of eight provinces: Szechuan,Hupeh, Hunan, Kiangsi, Kwangsi, Sinkiang, Kansu and Inner Mongolia.
